#1. Janardan Pujari Post Graduation Hostel

Janardan Pujari Post Graduation Hostel is very old, Everyone commonly knows this hostel as JPPG Boys Hostel. The hostel was established in 1964 and it is named after Mr. Janardan Pujari, an eminent doctor. And he was also a social worker in the Sambalpur district.

The hostel covers about 1ac of Gm University. The hostel also has 55 rooms for boys’ students, one kitchen room, one dining room, one study room, one gym, and 30 bathrooms.

This huge hostel provides an eco-friendly environment for students to study in a Conducive environment within the borders. The JPPG boys Hostel’s annual admission charge of Rs. 9,200, while its monthly Messing charges are Rs. 1920.

At the Janardan Pujari Post Graduation Hostel, Dr. Alekh Kumar Sutar (Associate Professor in School of Chemistry) is the Superintendent of the Hostel and Dr. Ajaya Kumar Tripathy (Asst. Professor in School of Computer Science) is the Assistant Superintendent of Hostel.

#2. Trust Found Hostel

The Trust Fund Hostel of Gangadhar Meher University was established in 1956. The hostel has a seating capacity of 200 students. The hostel has an annual admission fee of Rs. 8100 /- and a Monthly Messing Charge of Rs. 960 /- (Rs 32 /-meal per day).

This Silver Jubile hostel is one of the hostels of Gangadhar Meher University. The hostel has 150 seats for students. At the Silver Jubile hostel, Dr. Sambit Ku. Panigrahi (Associate Professor in School of English) is the Superintendent of the Hostel and Dr. Ashoka Kumar Tarai (Asst. Professor in School of Philosophy) is the Assistant Superintendent of the Hostel.

#4. Ekalabya Hostel

The Ekalabya Hostel of Gangadhar Meher University was established in 1974. The hostel has a seating capacity of 48 students. The hostel has an annual admission fee of Rs. 5400 / – and a Monthly Messing Charge of Rs. 1600 / – (Rs 32 /-meal per day).

#1. Ladies Hostel-I

The Ladies Hostel- (I) of Gangadhar Meher University, was established in 1984. The hostel has a capacity of 250 students and students can stay in this hostel on a full merit basis.

The hostel has a variety of facilities for students such as the exhaustive library, reading room, gymnasium and provision for regular newspapers & magazines, quality food, drinking water, and a kitchen also. Seventeen staff are deployed to look after the well-being of the Hostel boarders.

At the Womens’ Hostel (I), Dr. Namita Sadangi (Associate Prof. in School of Physics) is the Superintendent of the Hostel and Dr. Pratima Sarangi (Asst. Prof. in School of Political Science) is the Assistant Superintendent of Hostel.

The Ladies Hostel- III of Gangadhar Meher University, was established in 2010. The hostel has a capacity of 120 students. The hostel has a variety of facilities for students such as delicious food, Indoor game facilities, and Well-furnished room, 24×7 hours security, medical facilities, and a Hygienic and homely atmosphere for the Hostel boarders.
