#1. Janardan Pujari Post Graduation Hostel
Janardan Pujari Post Graduation Hostel is very old, Everyone commonly knows this hostel as JPPG Boys Hostel. The hostel was established in 1964 and it is named after Mr. Janardan Pujari, an eminent doctor. And he was also a social worker in the Sambalpur district.
The hostel covers about 1ac of Gm University. The hostel also has 55 rooms for boys’ students, one kitchen room, one dining room, one study room, one gym, and 30 bathrooms.

The Ladies Hostel- (I) of Gangadhar Meher University, was established in 1984. The hostel has a capacity of 250 students and students can stay in this hostel on a full merit basis.
The hostel has a variety of facilities for students such as the exhaustive library, reading room, gymnasium and provision for regular newspapers & magazines, quality food, drinking water, and a kitchen also. Seventeen staff are deployed to look after the well-being of the Hostel boarders.
