The Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) has invited applications for Livestock Inspector positions. The official website of OSSSC, osssc.gov.in allows eligible candidates to apply for Group C positions. To fill 565 positions in the organisation, registration began on August 5.
The latest notification from the commission states that the deadline for applications has been extended by 2 days. The original deadline for applications, August 26, was extended to August 28.
The recruitment process continues to be a challenge for the organization as every year, a very low average percentage of the applicants are successfully recruited.
The organization has been trying to recruit from different sources but it has been hard to achieve its goals with this plan. With so many candidates in the market and several companies vying for the same talent, recruiting people is not easy.
The candidate must have completed the Vocational Courses for Animal Husbandry, Dairy or Poultry or Beef or Meat Production or +2 Science at a recognized Educational Institution or Board or Council or University.
Candidates must be able to speak, read, and write Odia. They also need to have passed the Middle School Examination in Odia language subject. School Standard is conducted by the School & Mass Education Department.
Applying for the post does not require payment of an examination fee
